Endometriosis

Background: Endometriosis is a common gynecological disease affecting many women of reproductive-age. It is mostly caused by accumulation of backflow and debris of the endometrial tissue that develops into lesions in the lower peritoneal cavity, resulting in dysmenorrhea, pelvic pain and infertility in some patients.

Model: Endometriosis induced by transplantation of autologous endometrial fragments 

Standard study duration: 6-12 months

Clinical endpoint: Evoked pain tests, laparoscopy examination, biopsy and histopathology…
