Ischemic Cerebral Stroke

Background: Ischemic stroke is the most common disease in brain. It occurs when blood supply to part of the brain is restrained in the cerebrovasculature, leading to dysfunction of the local brain tissue.

Model: Middle cerebral artery (MCA) occlusion with craniotomy/trans-orbital surgery/clot embolization/microsphere embolization/DSA techniques.

Standard study duration: 4-8weeks

Clinical endpoint: Neurologic deficit score, magnetic resonance image (MRI), cerebral infarct size, cerebral blood flow (PET), physiological parameters (BP, HR, Body Tm), histopathology…

Features: Human similar brain structure, clinical score, high survival rate, thrombolytic treatments….

Status: Open for Co-development
